What people are saying about Port Douglas

Such an amazing day. Weather was perfect to experience this beautiful natural rainforest at its best. I took a paddle in Mossman Gorge, freezing, however my legs and feet felt great after. A few short bush walks through the gorge and Daintree to capture some amazing scenic photos. Experienced a calm boat ride on the Daintree River, spotting a few crocodiles along the way and a hatching. I learnt so many things about the history, the flora and fauna and how this rainforest is so important to the eco system. The smoking ceremony was fabulous and again informative and our young host made our group very welcome. Should you have the opportunity to visit this part of Far North Queensland, take the time to visit if you enjoy nature...you won't be disappointed.

This was the best trip I’ve had out to the reef. I was surprised at how beautiful the coral is at Mackay reef, the fish were amazing, beautiful vibrant tropical fish in abundance, clams amazing too. The bonus was seeing 3 turtles. The Cay was pretty special too and the beautiful, calm sunny weather we had made visibility superb! This Catamaran felt much more personalised than the Quicksilver I’ve done before. Would recommend this trip hands down over the bigger Catamaran trips. The crew were great, lots of knowledge on the marine life plus the guided scuba trips were informative and engaging. Zak and his team gave us a day out to remember!

We had a great day from start to finish, we were collected on time by Brett our wonderful guide for the tour. Brett was very informative, friendly and very organised. The train trip was great very scenic and was interesting to learn the history of building the track . Kuranda Village was a great experience great markets and interesting shops wonderful cafe/restaurants to choose to eat at. The return trip on the Sky rail is a great experience ,the scenery has to be seen to believe .

This is a MUST DO tour when you are in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed this amazing tour. Pete demonstrated how to properly fillet a barramundi, and we ate the most amazing barramundi sashimi that I have ever tasted. Visiting the local farms and gardens was very interesting also. We continued on to the fruit wine tasting nestled in the forest, where we sampled some very delicious wines while Pete prepared a 3 course meal fit for a king . Delicious.

The most fabulous tour so far!! Loved every minute, the welcome to country was so informative, swimming in the gorge, the Daintree trip and cape tribulation… our guide Stu was fun and informative. Would definitely recommend!!
