After pickup from your accommodation in Port Lincoln, make your way first to Winter Hill Lookout for a bird’s-eye view of Port Lincoln and Boston Bay. After that, head toward Lincoln National Park. Once there, discover a few quiet beaches and sand dunes. Keep your eyes peeled for the plentiful local wildlife, such as kangaroos, wedge-tail eagles, emus, and blue-tongued lizards. Next, travel to the Wanna sand dunes and undertake the Sleaford to Wanna 4WD off-road experience. Enjoy one of the best sand dune tracks on offer in South Australia before returning to Port Lincoln for a seafood lunch. In the afternoon, head to Whalers Way, a private property with exclusive views that even top those in the national parks. Set up camp for three nights at Mikkira Station, which has shower and toilet facilities. Day 4: Port Lincoln and surroundsPull on a wetsuit for a two-hour learn-to-surf lesson. After a bite to eat, take a 14-kilometer coastal drive along Whalers Way. Later, contribute to koala conservation work at Mikkira Station. Depending on the time of year, spend the afternoon removing weeds, or collecting, propagating, or planting manna gum tree seeds. Sleep under koala-filled gum trees at Mikkira. Day 5: Coffin Bay (or aquatic Experience) After Breakfast, spend the day unearthing Port Lincoln and Coffin Bay with optional Oyster tasting with Coffin Bay Oyster Farm Tour. Hop on a ferry and set sail across the Spencer Gulf towards Wallaroo on the Yorke Peninsula. Grab a coffee on board and relax as you cruise across the gulf.
