Our guide met us on time and at the meeting point. Our guide was chatty, engaging and informative. The food was too much for me ! Not that I'm complaining. 1 filled roti, another roti type bread dish, some sort of sweet biscuit, a bowl with 5 dumplings in and I got offered another bowl ! A drink and fruit and a pudding dish at the end. Not wanting to spoil the surprise just wanting to help with food quantity. I have small appetite and was full after a few dishes and my partner has a large appetite and said he was stuffed by the end ! The food was all local and lovely. We also had a visit to the local market which was good too. Def recommend

I would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Mauritius. Our tour guide Adrian was outstanding and very knowledgeable. The food that we sampled was both tasty and filling... from sweet to savory to thirst quenching, every tasting was thoroughly enjoyed. There is a lot of walking involved so wear comfortable walking shoes . I will definitely do this one again.

We really enjoyed our tour and thought it was a great way to experience the local cultures and their history. Our guide, Chris, was very proud of his heritage and that helped to make the experience even more interesting. Come hungry on this tour because the portions are large and very filling!

A great little culinary experience of Mauritian flavours. Our guide Rudy was a great storyteller and a chef himself so the food he made is taste was really good. This trip forever changed the way I eat pineapples! Highly recommended. And definitely don’t have breakfast before you go!
