This tour was excellent! The guide was an archeologist who's passionate about Pompeii and can transmit her passion to the audience in a lightly digestible way for a layperson. I don't think I would have enjoyed visiting Pompeii without her introduction, so I'd recommend booking the morning walking tour to have free time to wander around on your own afterwards. Well done and big thanks to the guide!

We came from Sorrento on our way to Rome. The free automated luggage lockers right at the meeting point were great! The meeting point was easy to find. Our guide, Anna Sorrento, was wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell she is passionate about Pompeii. Highly recommend this tour. Otherwise, we would have just wandered around and not understood what an amazing city this was.

Pretty straightforward system to swap the online ticket for the actual one at the park entrance. Just wish I hadn't bothered to buy one online because there was only a very small line and I could have saved three euros. Would not bother to buy a ticket online in February but I would absolutely do it during the peak season. Pompeii itself is incredible and a must-visit place.

I learned so much history from our guide Mikael. He is a trained archeologist so he was able to give correct information on what are myths and truths about Pompeii, as well as explain the unknowns.

There are lots of groups that start at same time so I can’t say how all guides were, but ours was excellent. This tour highlight of our trip!
