The guide Raquel was not really friendly; we did not get any information about the day's program during the bus-trip from Porto to Regua. She did not welcome the guests in the bus - no greatings, no information about the bus trip and how we will get on the boat. The bus was late for 1/2 hour but the guide did not inform us - so we waited in the windy train station without knowing what will happen and why we are waiting for. The bus was very cold and we asked to stop cooling (outside temperature was 16 ° C) but there was no reaction. On the boat station was chaos - again no information from the guide - so we waited under the sun without knowing how to continue. When the boat started there was also no information about the lunchtime etc.... This was the worst experience of a guide and organisation we had in Portugal. The title of this trip was "waiting without information".... Fortunately the trip on the river is very nice and the people on the boat where very friendly.

We had a wonderful day and it highly recommended this trip The train was cancelled due to COVID-19 but a very nice bus to us 90 minutes to it river boat. The staff was excellent, especially or guide Alessandro. The lunch was very good as well. The scenery asking the river was at time breathtaking. Have no negative comments and feel this was well worth our money and time.

The experience and the food was amazing. The cruise itself was in a very good condition and the ability to have the view of the landscape was lovely! Only unfortunate thing was that it was not possible to go in the front of the boat to have a full view of the Douro River.
