The day starts at 8:30 in the morning, where tourists are picked up from their hotels. A one-hour trip is taken to reach the colonial chapel of Chataquilla, where the trekking along the Inca trail begins (2 hours). At the end of the Inca trail, the car awaits us to take us to the Maragua Crater, where we have a delicious vegetarian lunch and visit the rock formation called La Garganta del Diablo (30 minutes). In the afternoon, we visit the dinosaur footprints (2 hours) and return to the city of Sucre. If a weaver is available, we can visit her and she explains to us about the art of the Jalqa culture. Along the trip, visit: Salt eyes, Salt Hotel-Museum (Built entirely of salt blocks), Dakar Monument, Flags of the world, and finally, arrive at Incahuasi Island to appreciate the beautiful view and the giant cactus. Day Three / Chiguana + Ollague lookout point + Andean lagoons with flamingoes + Red lagoon After breakfast, go to visit the famous lagoons: Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota, with a lot of flamingoes. Later, an exquisite lunch, Siloli desert, Stone Tree. At the final of the day, arrive at Red Lagoon which is inhabited by numerous flamingos. Finally, head to the hotel in the community of “Huayllajara” to have dinner, and night rest. Also, visit the hot springs of Polques to take a bath and relax enjoying the most beautiful landscape. Then, the Salvador Dali Desert which offers spectacular views and multicolored rock formations of the volcanoes. Later, go up to the viewpoint of the Green Lagoon, White Lagoon, and Lincancabur Volcano. Then visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miners´ workshops), and see handicrafts made of salt and textile art made of llama and alpaca. Take photos as you cruise along the vast white expanse of salt. Then, visit “Ojos de Agua Salada”, a hotel made completely of salt which is currently used as a museum, the island of flags of the world, and the famous Dakar Monument. Lunch will be served near “Isla Incahuasi” following, have time to take a hike to the top of the island to see giant cacti and rock formations made of petrified coral. From the top admire the 360º of the Salar de Uyuni. Take time to organize your group for fun perspective and proportion-distorted photos on the blinding white surface of the salt flats.
