Full description
The Curieuse Marine National Park is a sanctuary to a big variety of flora and fauna. On the southern part of the island, you will discover a mangrove swamp that is traversed by a walkway for park visitors. The island is also known for its coco de merpalms, giant takamaka trees, and a large hawksbill turtle rookery. The area is also rich with several bird species, such as the rare Seychelles black parrot Coracopis nigra barklyi, a parrot found only there and on Praslin. St. Pierre Island is a raised reef island west of Providence Atoll and a part of the Farquhar Group, which belongs to the Outer Islands of the Seychelles. It has a distance of 736 kilmometers southwest of the capital, Victoria, on Mahé Island. St. Pierre is a tiny granite islet with a handful of coconut palm trees. It’s a picture-perfect miniature island in the middle of the ocean. St. Pierre is considered as one of Seychelles best snorkeling locations, providing the opportunity to see a wide variety of colorful fish and sea turtles. The full day tour includes a delicious BBQ Lunch as well as soft drinks. You will have opportunities to snorkel and visit these two beautiful islands, and at the conclusion of your experience you will be returned to Praslin.

A very nice trip. Collection was on time (unfortunately we weren't). You will be picked up directly at the hotel beach or one that is nearby. Direct consultation with the organizer via WhatsApp quickly and easily. A small group max 6 people (there would not be room for more on the boat). Nice trail with the possibility to see the resort for turtles, mangroves (with all animals) very natural and well developed. Finally seen one of the most beautiful beaches, BBQ very tasty and authentic. The subsequent visit to the reef island of St. Pierre was mega. Many species of fish and pleasant snorkeling terrain. The only thing missing is more background information from the guide. This drops visitors off at one beach and picks them up at the other. He was super friendly and also explained where to go, but every now and then a little story about things would be the icing on the cake. And the tour wasn't the specified 7 hours, but just under 6.

We found the tour very interesting overall, but cannot recommend it unreservedly: -Procedure on LaCurieuse: The island is very beautiful and we think it's great that these and thus the turtles are protected as a matter of principle. Not so great is that it is a very touristy affair. The schedule on the islands was such that we had free time until 12pm to see the free turtles where we were dropped off and walk to a meeting point at a beach for lunch gave. From there we went by boat to St. Pierre for snorkeling. Since we finished a little earlier and dolphins were nearby, our guide even drove a little arc to see them before dropping us off, but still 1 hour too early (3 p.m.). -Snorkeling: It was good, but no better than Anse Lazio. -Lunch: Creole and extremely good. It was really delicious.

What a great excursion! It was on a small boat so we weren’t in a big crowd. We got tons of freedom to spend as much time as we liked with the tortoises. The snorkelling on St. Pierre was great too! Not a ton of bright coral but lots of great fish and cool granite features. Our guide spoke great English and did a perfect job of getting us the info we needed while not being intrusive. Also, the Get Your Guide customer support is amazing. 10/10 for this whole trip
