1. From Praslin: La Digue Boat Trip with Bike Rental

Whether you are starting off from Praslin island, you will be cruising the crystalline waters on board the island’s community ferries to La Digue, where you will experience some of the most memorable and authentic island living moments. La Digue is yours to explore guide-free and at your own pace for the entirety of the day. Hop onto your bike to begin your adventure, and allow yourself to be open to all the surprises that you may find right around the corner, such as an unbothered land tortoise causing some mid-morning “traffic”… if you’re “lucky”, that is! You can choose to visit many of the island’s attractions, such as L’Union Estate, home to the cemetery of the original settlers of the island. Attractions include a traditional copra mill, giant land tortoises, an old plantation house and the picturesque Anse Source D’Argent; famous for its huge granite boulders and clear turquoise water.

What people are saying about Praslin Island

We were picked up on time and then we went to the port of La Digue. There we were given a map and then we went to the bikes. We had time to explore the island from around 11 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. At 4 p.m. we went back to Praslin to be able to swim relaxed on the beautiful beach in the national park (from the port about 15 minutes by bike) it is best to drive north to Anse Banana and stay briefly at Anse Fourmis On the way back you can have a delicious meal at Chez Jules and then cycle into the national park, show the wristband and say the name and then cycle past the turtles until just before the Anse source d'Argent and walk the rest and stay there until you have to go back.

Everything went great and, above all, a very short-term booking was possible! We were picked up directly from the hotel and everything was well organized. We would book a tour there again at any time

Excursion good, but bikes are very old, sometimes the chain goes through. But GYG is not to blame for that. La Digue should pay more attention to this and not provide any almost broken bikes.

Very well organized. The pick-up was perfect. Because the weather was instable they offered the opportunity for a change of day or refund. We decided to go anyway and liked a lot. Good bikes.

From the booking to the implementation went flawlessly and smoothly.
