Discover both a lake originating from a glacier and an active volcano famous for its perfectly-shaped crater with this package. Choose to depart from Puerto Varas or Puerto Montt. After pickup from selected hotels in Puerto Varas and Puerto Montt, head to the southern shores of the Llanquihue Lake, where you'll learn about the German settlers and agriculture in the region. Once in the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, admire the imposing Petrohué Waterfalls, which stun visitors with their turquoise waters. From there, make your way to the origin of the Petrohué River, Todos los Santos Lake, and visit some of its sleepy beaches. By then, you'll be at the foot of the Osorno Volcano to enjoy a stop for lunch in the village of Ensenada (lunch not included), before continuing up to the ski resort on the volcano. En route, take in stunning panoramic views of the Petrohué River Valley and the beautiful Llanquihue Lake.

Explore the Chilean Lake District on this guided day tour to the Osorno volcano and Petrohué falls in the Vicente Perez Rosales National Park. Climb the imposing volcano and enjoy panoramic views over the region. Walk through lush forest and admire the cascading turquoise waters at Petrohué. After pickup in Puerto Montt, travel along the shore of lake Llanquihue to the conical Osorno volcano. Drive up through verdant forest with amazing views over the lake and the Calbuco volcano as you ascend Osorno.  Reach the Ski and Mountain Center, located at 1,240 meters, where you can take photos of the stunning landscape views and look up to the glaciers at the volcano’s summit. Optionally, pause for a coffee and a snack at the cafe, or ride the chairlift to the glacier station. Descend the volcano to the Vicente Perez Rosales National Park. Enjoy a walk through the evergreen forest and along the Petrohué River to the falls. Watch the river water jump over great masses of lava from Osorno which have been polished and crystallized over centuries of erosion. After some time taking pictures and admiring the sparkling river water, travel back to Puerto Montt to be dropped off.

Depart from Puerto Varas or Puerto Montt, depending on the option selected. Begin your day by taking a boat down the Chacao canal for 30 minutes, where you spot a wide variety of birds, before arriving at the village of Chacao to visit its square and church. Continue to Castro to stop for lunch at your own expense. Visit the typical stilted houses in the Gamboa district, the main square, and the Nercón Church which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Originally constructed around 1890, the church is considered a national monument. Travel onwards towards Dalcahue, where you will stop on the waterfront to take in the wonderful natural landscape and visit the local artisan market, museum, and the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and national monument.

Discover the charming lakeside destination of Frutillar, which delights visitors with its beauty all year round. Choose to depart from Puerto Varas or Puerto Montt, then admire a landscape formed by the Llanquihue Lake and several stunning volcanoes. After pickup from selected hotels in Puerto Varas or Puerto Montt, make your way to Frutillar on the eastern bank of Llanquihue Lake. Feel the influence of the German settlers in the spectacular old cottages, many converted into guest houses. If you want, sample the delicious Bavarian gastronomy, such as kuchen and apple strudel sweets, as well. On this tour, you'll take a rural road used by the local farmers, where you can see the agriculture and the cattle so common in the region. You'll also discover another reason to fall in love with Frutillar – the Teatro del Lago.

Enjoy the volcanic landscapes of the Osorno volcano on this guided day trip with hotel pickup and drop-off in Puerto Varas. Reach the Osorno Volcano Ski and Mountain Center, located at an altitude of 1,240 meters above sea level. Travel in comfort aboard a climate-controlled van.  Choose from a group tour or the intimacy and flexibility of a private experience. Be picked up from the comfort of your hotel and settle in for the scenic drive through the countryside to the rural town of Ensenada. Begin your ascent of the volcano and climb until you reach the Osorno Volcano Ski and Mountain Center. Explore the second largest lake in Chile and admire its wild forests, snowcapped volcanoes, and small German-influenced villages. Discover the picturesque towns like Frutillar, Puerto Varas, and Puerto Varay that surround the lake, all famous for the predominantly German influence on their architecture, food, and traditional summer events. Lake Llanquihue is considered to be one of the most beautiful lakes in Chile and is set in over 87,700 hectares. On this trip, take a complete tour of the lake from Puerto Varas or Puerto Montt. Travel over 186 kilometers (115.6 miles) around the lake, with only 30 of these kilometers (18.6 miles) on a proper gravel road. After pickup from Puerto Montt or Puerto Varas, set off along some of the most scenic roads in the country toward Ensenada, before arriving at the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, home to beautiful lakes, flora, and fauna. A couple of kilometers further north, find Puerto Octay, a small village where you can visit the Centinela bay and strip of land, with some of the best views in the region. Continue toward the south of the lake, with a truly unforgettable view of 3 volcanoes situated in between various little islands. Upon arrival in Frutillar, admire the colonial German houses, enjoy the sandy beach, and visit the modern Teatro del Lago. From Frutillar, proceed south along the waterfront to the village of Llanquihue and end up in Puerto Varas or Puerto Montt.

Beginning of the tour leaving the respective Hotels in Puerto Varas or Puerto Montt, visiting first the highest point of the city, where we will be able to appreciate a panoramic view of the city of Puerto Montt, we will visit the monument to the German Colonists, and then continue towards the Pelluco Spa, starting from kilometer 0 of the Carretera Austral, we will return along this same route to move towards the Angelmo sector. We will also visit Angelmo Avenue, famous in our country for its large number of Craft Shops and of course the Caleta de Pescadores and Municipal Market where we will learn about the daily activity of seafarers who come to this place bringing traditional seafood and fish. to later be sold in the Market, in this market we will also find the typical kitchens where the richest and most traditional typical dishes that characterize our area are sold. We will end our tour at the Chinquihue Spa. Traveling through the Pan-American Highway we will travel around 18 kilometers to arrive at the beautiful city of Puerto Varas, also known as the City of Roses, we will know its main tourist attractions such as the Cathedral Church built in the year, of Monumental Baroque style is a replica Exact image of a Church in the Black Forest in Germany, where some settlers who arrived in our area from the year 1852 came from, we will visit the Philippi Park, where we will be able to appreciate a partial view of what the city is, then we will descend towards the Central sector bordering the beautiful Llanquihue Lake and as a backdrop we will see if the weather allows it the imposing Osorno Volcano which with its melting feeds Lake Llanquihue every day, we will end our tour in the Puerto Chico Spa located about 3 km from the city center.
