Enjoy an unforgettable adventure at the waterfalls of Damajagua in the Dominican Republic, located at the confluence of emerald waters, deep in a tropical rainforest of the Cordillera Septentrional. 27 refreshing waterfalls have been chiseled by Mother Nature’s celestial mallet. Ideal for visitors who like to commune with nature, while experiencing an adrenaline-fuelled day, you will hop on the back of a safari-style truck, where a team of experienced guides and drivers await. Note that only 12 of the 27 waterfalls will be visited, since doing the 27 waterfalls would take greater physical preparation. After a short safety briefing, glide across the natural water springs, bathing in heavenly caves. Flanked by the whistling of exotic birdlife, and the banks of the Damajagua River, the rustling of the streams arouse a state of stillness. A labyrinth of tunnels and chutes are scattered around the waterfalls, some reaching heights of up to 13 feet. Somersault with the grace of aquatic birds, as your guide keep a watchful eye. Walk an interpretative rainforest trail to come face-to-face with Mother Earth, and wildlife waits to be greeted. Leap headfirst, swimming crossways, and sliding down natural waterslides. Explore unpredictable falls, with teasing names like “La Virgen” and “La Tinajita.” “La Virgen” holds Taino legends, where the aborigines built a statue of pebbles that paid homage to the Virgin of Altagracia, perhaps becoming the first worshippers of the Patron Saint of the Dominican people. After a typical buffet-style lunch, head towards the small town of Imbert and visit a local market where you can purchase artisan products and crafts bearing a distinct Dominican hallmark.

THANK YOU DIANA, A perfect visit in every way. Diana's mastery of several languages allowed all the customers present to understand all the explanations. Diana is a great professional, who knows her city very well and who is also very appreciated by those responsible for the places visited. Which opens doors to some well-kept little secrets. The visit of the rum factory, the jewelry factory with Larimar and amber, the chocolate factory. (don't forget your credit card) Despite the fact that the cable car was down for technical maintenance, Diana had arranged for us to access the top of the mountain with a suitable truck. (slopes at 18%) This allowed us to discover a whole different world very closely. So yes if you want to visit Puerto Plata in a small group, choose Diana and her team, you will not be disappointed. THANK YOU AGAIN DIANA.

Antiono with us all the way so friendly & thoughful to make sure we were all enjoying the experience.

Everything went well. Josef picked us up at the agreed time and showed us everything according to the program. Unfortunately, the cable car was broken, but we drove up there in a jeep. Lunch, rum factory, chocolate factory, old town etc. everything was fine, nice tour. Thanks.

Great pick-up and drop-off service outside Puerto Plata, perfect for me in Cabarete. Intelligent and knowledgeable guide. We did miss the chocolate tour due to crowds elsewhere, but still had opportunity to buy 100% Dominican cacao and try some wonderful hot chocolate.

Beautiful activity! Worth the effort! It is best to determine your route in the gardens in advance to fully enjoy the fountains.
