Spend the day at the delightful Ocean World Adventure Park on Cofresi Beach, just outside Puerto Plata. Round-trip transportation is provided from nearby hotels and there will be plenty of time to relax, but a highlight of the excursion is the opportunity to play with the Patagonian Sea Lions. Known as the clowns of the sea, these lovable creatures can be seen up close and personal during a 30-minute encounter. You will learn about their habits and habitat during a pre-swim lecture.

Then you will be able to touch, feed, pet and play with them as you sit on the side of the interaction pool. Watch in amazement as they perform their hilarious stunts. Ocean World is the most complete entertainment complex of its kind in the Dominican Republic, and boasts the largest man-made dolphin lagoon in the world. As you stroll through the complex you will discover a rich world of marine and animal life, and enjoy the focus on human-animal interaction. Snorkel in the Tropical Reef Aquarium, teeming with colorful fish. Marvel at puffers, angel, and butterfly fish, while grunts and lookdowns swim past you.

Next you can head to the Tropical Rainforest, an exotic oasis complete with waterfalls, lagoons and sandy beaches. Your entrance to the Ocean World complex includes access to the Dolphin Show, Shark Show, and Tropical Bird Show.

When you are ready for some time out, you will have access to Dolphin Beach where you are provided with comfortable lounge chairs. Lunch is included.
