Discover the islands of Lake Titicaca on this 2-day tour from Puno. Spend the night at a homestay on Amantani Island and learn about local traditions. Day 1: Uros Islands and Amantani Head to the legendary floating reed islands by motorboat. On Amantani Island the tour breaks into smaller groups for stays with local families. Trek to the top of the mountain to see the Temples of the Pachamama and Pachatata. Authentic food will be prepared and music performed by your designated family. Day 2: Taquile Island – Puno After breakfast, take a short boat ride to nearby Taquile island and meet locals known for their intricate weavings. Return to Puno after lunch, arriving between 3:15 PM and 3:30 PM.

Get picked up from your hotel in Puno for a quick transfer to the city bus station. Travel by Lake Titicaca towards the Bolivian side of the border until your reach Copacabana, admiring stunning shoreline views over quintessential Altiplano landscapes.  You will make a stop for migration procedures, before heading to Copacabana. Start your boat tour to Sun Island, the cradle of the Inca Empire. Once on this legendary island, visit the main highlights accompanied by a tour guide. Afterward, board the boat once more and continue on to Copacabana while enjoying the majestic panorama of Lake Titicaca. Finally, board the local bus and get dropped off in La Paz in the late evening.

Day 1: Arrival in Lima, City Tour Your tour will begin as you are picked up from the airport, it is advisable to arrive in the morning. In the afternoon, you will take a city tour. That evening you will stay at the Miramar Hotel or similar in Lima. Day 6: Humantay Lake On your sixth day, you will trek to Humantay Lake, which is close to the snowy Salkantay mountain, you will be able to know the first camp of the famous Salkantay trek. That evening you will once again lodge in the Ayni Cusco Hotel or similar. Day 7: Rainbow Mountain Trek to Rainbow Mountain, which is very close to the highest mountain of Cusco: the Ausangate Mountain, this is a famous place around Cusco. Following your day of hiking, you will return once more to the Ayni Cusco Hotel or similar overnight. Day 8: Route of the Sun On day 8 you will take a bus tour between Cusco and Puno. Day 9: Titicaca Lake and the Uros and Taquile Islands On the final day, you will take a speed boat tour of Lake Titicaca, before exploring the Uros and Taquile Islands. In the afternoon, you will transfer to the airport where your tour will conclude.

This kayak tour on Lake Titicaca begins with a pick-up from your hotel to Isla Esteves Port at 08:00 approximately, where you will take all the professional equipment/ gear needed for kayaking. You will paddle for about an hour until the islands of the Uros.
