Perched on a high plateau, the ancient fortified palace of Masada became a refuge for Zealots who took a stand against the Romans, until the mass suicide of the zealots in 73 AD. Visit the remains of the palaces and see mosaic floors, Roman baths, and other findings. Masada was also home to the oldest synagogue in Israel, but one of the most remarkable features is the 12 water cisterns, each with a capacity of up to 140,000 cubic feet. Following the tour of Masada, you will drive to the Dead Sea Mineral Beach located in the Jordan Rift Valley, between Jordan and the West Bank. It is the lowest place on earth and its high density of salt makes for a unique experience as you float on the beautiful aquamarine surface. Take a mud bath and benefit from the therapeutic qualities of the natural Dead Sea mud. Pick up was super on time, and very efficient as many busses pick up people from different places in the city and drive to a central location to assign people to their actual busses and guides without going stop by stop and picking up other people along the way. Our guide Omri was excellent, we loved his detailed and fun explanations along the ride as well as at Masada and the Dead Sea. He was super knowledgeable and connected so well with all people in the group. We even stopped for photos at two spots going to Masada and going back to Tel Aviv. Even though our Masada trip was slightly delayed due to another tourist at the Masada cable cars having to be brought out after having a heart attack, we got the full time at the Dead Sea which was very enjoyable and not rushed at all. Even had time to ride a camel :) Highly recommend the trip, saw, learnt and experienced a lot. Thank you Omri! :)

My husband was shamash or helper to Omri, our guide. One of the calmest voices you can listen to for hours. Great insights into the culture and history of Israel. The ride to Masada and the Dead sea is very comfortable and enjoyable due to the scenery and appropriate story line. Many thanks for the very cool time spent with you guys.

The bus was very puntual, the organization of the trip went smoothly. Our guide Sigal was very informative, we learned a lot about Israeli history, people, political situation and geography during our trip. The time allowed to different activities (floating on the sea, lunch at Masada) are well set, we had enough time for everything.

We had a wonderful trip to Masada and the Dead Sea! Our guide, Yosef, was WONDERFUL! Would recommend this trip 10/10! But don't forget to take some shoes (sandals, flipflops) with you for at the Dead Sea, the ground around this Sea is burning hot!

Our tour guide Yoav did a fantastic job .He not only knows a lot interesting historical facts but also a lot amusing anectodes about places what we went too.
