What people are saying about Rainbow Mountain

The trip was very well organized. The tour company sent me a message the day before explaining the trip and when they would pick me up. We stopped for breakfast and lunch at the same place which very good. Both meals were traditional Peruvian style. Once we arrived at Rainbow Mountain the guide briefed us about the climb and the vendors. The walk/climb was about 4K meters. I’m pretty active and it was very challenging. It took about 1 1/2 hours for me to climb to the very top. Well worth it.

The Alternative Rainbow Mountain Tour is an excellent way to view three rainbow mountains with only about an hour of hiking. Our guide Darwin was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Our tour also included a delicious breakfast and lunch and stops at the small but very interesting village museum and the market. We live at 6,000 feet altitude in New Mexico, so the 17,000 feet didn’t bother us at all. The panoramic views are absolutely stunning! We highly recommend this tour!

They travel company text and call me the day before to explain ALL the details of the trip. The bus came to my hotel, which was a little out of the way. Breakfast and lunch were at a small Peruvian restaurant in a small town. Both were delicious. The climb to the top of rainbow mountain was challenging but definitely worth it.

Great meals, well organised and awesome guide for a decent price. No reason not to go with these guys unless you find a better priced and well reviewed company, can’t imagine the experience could’ve been much better improved though. Very touristy but great to get it off the bucket list.

Great tour!! An absolutely must see. Guidance was super helpful and informative!!
