Guests will travel in an air-conditioned vehicle to the first stop in Jaipur, the famous Hawa Mahal, or “Palace of Breeze.” Explore the gardens and temples of the City Palace before continuing on to the Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest observatories ever built. Meet the curious inhabitants of the Ramgopal Ji temple, colloquially know as the Monkey Temple for the family of playful monkeys that now occupy the site. Explore the complex at your own pace before drop off at the hotel in Jaipur.   The next day, the tour departs at 8:30 AM and heads for the rugged hills outside the town of Amer for a visit to the Amber Fort, a fascinating complex blending Hindu and Muslim architecture in red sandstone and white marble. After pickup from your Delhi hotel at 6:00 or 7:00 AM (or at around 2:30 AM for the sunrise option) your driver will take you to Agra for your exploration of the Taj Mahal. At the start of the trip your guide will pick you up from your Hotel at 10:00 AM and in an air-conditioned vehicle.  Your Journey starts with a visit to Gandhi Smriti (Gandhi Memorial) where Gandhi spent the last 144 days of his life and where he was assassinated on 30th January 1948. Visit the museum here associated with life and death of Gandhi. Next, Visit the Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum. Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum was the residence of the former Prime Minister of India (First Women Prime Minister of India). It was later converted into a museum. One can see the collection of rare photographs of the Nationalist movement, the personal moments of the Nehru-Gandhi family and her childhood. Continue to Raj Ghat, located on the banks of the River Yamuna. Raj Ghat is a memorial to Gandhi inscribed with the words “Hey Ram” last words uttered by Gandhi. This is the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Your next and the final stop is National Gandhi Museum which has a rich collection of original books, journals, and documents, photographs, audio-video visuals closely related with Mahatma Gandhi. Shekhawati is a semi-dry and historical region located in the northeast part of Rajasthan, India. It is famous for its rich heritage and beautiful architectures full of fresco paintings, and is hence also known as “open-air art gallery”. Nowadays Shekhawati is the most favorite tourist destination for those visiting India wanting to experience this heritage-rich territory. It is legendary for its painted havelis and paintings, well-known for their wall painting depicting mythological and historical subjects. Large wooden doors guard the havelis, and a smaller door is used for day-to-day entering. A sophisticated wooden carving with fancy bronze iron fittings implies the wealth of a haveli's owner, with the ground floor normally recessed in such a way that the balcony overhangs the street. Mandawa is a small town in the heart of Shekhawati region, and is a place is known not only for its havelis but also for its Fort Palace. The structure of the palace is reminiscent of the cultural and social importance of this region in the past. Of the havelis, the most important are the Chokhani, Ladia, Bansidhar Newatia, and Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli. Another haveli, the Binsidhar Newatia Haveli, is known for its curious paintings. Finally, you will discover Nawalgarh, which is famous for its fort which was built by Thakur Nawal Singh. The Bala Quila has a kiosk with beautiful ceiling paintings, while the Roop Niwas Palace has now been converted into a hotel. After seeing the beauty of Shekhawati you will return to Jaipur where your guide will bid you farewell.
