What people are saying about Rajasthan

Our driver drove very careful all the way from Delhi to Agra and Jaipur. He even surprised us with a basket of snacks [filled up everyday] in our 3 days' tour. Since my wife is not a snack addicted person, he bought her bananas instead - how thoughtful he is ;)) Delhi - we were lucky as to see parade rehersal of India Repulic day in front of the President House. We did enjoy a luxurious stay in Jaypee Palace Hotel, Agra [you can't ask for more] Agra - we were disappointed as Taj Mahal 'disappear' because of the foggy day. Jaipur - a city that has lots to see such as Amber Fort, Palace of Winds, Jantar Mantar etc. Good choice of hotel - Holiday Inn Jaipur - where you can easily grap some food in the shopping center next to the hotel. It's a good route to end up the tour at Jaipur where you can stay behind to enjoy more sight seeing in the "Pink City" All tour guides have good knowledge about the history and different places of interest.

The driver was very courteous and prompt and drove very quickly. Be aware that nausea can be a problem if you are prone to motion sickness due to the bumpy roads, frequent direction changes, and quick stops. The hotels were both very nice although the service at the Hilton in Jaipur was not as smooth as the service at the Jaypee Palace in Agra. The local guides were all very knowledgeable. The tours of the local artisans are followed up with sales pitches to buy items made by those same artisans. This has been my experience in other locations and the salesmen were very polite. I found that the prices were higher than stalls on the street but the items were of very high quality. Don’t be afraid to bargain. Be sure to bring some cash not only for the entrance fees but also to tip your guides and driver. The suggested tip was INR500 for a guide and INR1500 for a driver but I tipped extra for the driver and two of the three guides.

Our trip was absolutely breathtaking. When you are sitting at your computer looking at some "3-day private trip" overseas the first thing that comes to mind is showing up in said country and a nasty bus with a hundred people and a guy that barely speaks your native language shouting out the names of the events around you.... but this trip is so far from that. We had a private Toyota SUV packed with water to drink, hand sanitizer and first aid kits. There was rarely anything that we needed that our private driver Rajeesh didn't have! Our driver picked us up from our hotel and accommodated our every need from the beginning of the trip until the end! Our personal guides were incredible! They were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. This is truly a once in a life time trip!

Fantastic tour - it was well organized and each tour guide we had was great and very knowledgeable. Our driver, Rajesh, was brilliant, we couldn’t recommend better! I would feel safe doing this tour by myself. The tour is a great way to see all three cities if you only have a few days in India. The hotels we stayed in were lovely too’
