Ranthambore National Park is a popular wildlife sanctuary located in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, India. It is known for its population of royal Bengal tigers and is one of the best places in India to spot these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. If you're interested in going on a jungle safari in Ranthambore, here's some information that might be helpful: Safari Zones: Ranthambore National Park is divided into several safari zones, and each zone has its own entry gate. The zones are allocated randomly by the park authorities, and visitors are assigned a zone for their safari. The zones include popular areas like Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3, Zone 4, Zone 5, Zone 6, Zone 7, Zone 8, Zone 9, and Zone 10. Safari Timing: The park offers two safari shifts per day—one in the morning and another in the afternoon. The timings may vary depending on the season, so it's best to check with the park authorities or your tour operator for the exact timings during your visit. Safari Modes: Ranthambore offers two types of safari modes: a canter safari and a jeep safari. A canter is an open-air bus that can accommodate a larger number of people, while a jeep can accommodate a smaller group. Booking Safaris: It's advisable to book your jungle safari in advance, especially during peak seasons, as the number of vehicles allowed in the park is limited. Safari Duration: The duration of a safari is usually around 3-4 hours, during which you'll explore the designated safari zone with a trained guide or naturalist who accompanies you on the safari. They will provide information about the flora, fauna, and wildlife you encounter. Wildlife Viewing: While the main attraction of Ranthambore is the Bengal tigers, the park is also home to other wildlife species such as leopards, sloth bears, hyenas, jackals, deer, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. The chances of spotting tigers or other wildlife depend on several factors, including luck, season, and the expertise of your naturalist. Safari Rules: It's important to follow the rules and regulations set by the park authorities during your safari. This includes maintaining silence, not littering, and not getting out of the safari vehicle except at designated spots. These rules are in place to ensure the safety of both visitors and wildlife.

AMAZING TAXI FROM JAIPUR. He has bumped up the rating. Safari service was not very good; guide did nothing, drove in a circle. I would be very surprised if a tiger was ever seen where we were - zone 6 of 6.

Amazing experience, not a lot of animals, but the nature is really beautiful, high mountains.
