Take a stirring journey through art and religious history with skip-the-ticket-line entry to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Avoid the long ticket lines and then enjoy your visit at your own pace. Tiptoe through the Greek Cross Gallery to see elaborately-carved sarcophagi that might just contain the earthly remains of some of antiquity's famous kings and queens! Peek at the Cabinet of the Masks, or tour the Sala degli Animali to see a virtual menagerie of fantastic beasts, real and imagined. Walk the Upper Galleries, including the Gallery of Maps, to see how cartographers depicted the world through the ages. See masterpieces by Renaissance masters in the Raphael Rooms, and rest for a while in the Borgia Apartments. Then, it’s time to marvel at Michelangelo’s exquisite Sistine Chapel, the crown jewel of the Vatican, and perhaps even of all the world’s art treasures.
Nice tour despite the amusement park-like herding of people through the museum. Guards were a bit rude to visitors. Didn't like that if you missed seeing something the guards wouldn't let you retreat to look again. The tour itself was beautiful!
Start your day at the Vatican early and skip the notoriously long ticket lines by following a special route through the museums that gets you to the Sistine Chapel just as it opens for the day. Arrive with a small group of 15 people or fewer a full hour before most of the crowd does and spend a peaceful half hour soaking up Michelangelo’s masterpiece along with stunning frescoes by other important Renaissance artists. Continue on to the Pinecone Courtyard for a large buffet breakfast including hot and cold dishes, fruit juice, tea, and coffee. Once you’ve eaten your fill, we’ll head back into the museums for a tour of the most famous artifacts, including the Belvedere Torso, the Apollo Belvedere, the Laocoön Group, and the Raphael Rooms, widely considered to be among the most beautifully-frescoed interiors in the world. The last stop of the tour is St. Peter’s Basilica. But instead of ...
it is a highly recommended tour for those who want to skip the long queue and enjoy the Vatican at a bit personal level. our guide was very nice with good sense of humor. the breakfast at Vatican was also a nice experience
Have the Vatican to yourself on this exclusive early morning tour that whisks you through closed doors for a buffet breakfast in the peaceful Pinecone Courtyard, 1.5 hours before anyone else enters the museums! While the general public waits in line outside, you’ll feast on an Italian-American breakfast buffet of cooked-to-order eggs, meats, cheeses, muffins, croissants, fresh fruits, cereals, and even pancakes, flipped by the Vatican's pancake chef. Dining in the beautiful Pinecone Courtyard, alongside one of the Vatican Museums' most beautiful works of modern art, experience a level of tranquility rarely seen by Vatican visitors. Then follow your guide to explore the Vatican Museums. Still closed to the general public, the Museums are quieter now than throughout the rest of the day. With only 10 people per group, you’ll have time and space to really appreciate the art. See rooms suc...
Breakfast was delicious and our guide (I apologize for not remembering her name) was amazing and so full of knowledge. It's wonderful when a guide loves the topic and makes the information easy to digest.

We were able to get tickets much earlier than the earliest slot on the Vatican museum website ... We were able to quickly go in , show our number in the app to the guy at the reservation window, who then gave us tickets to use in the turnstile to get into the main part of the museum. We were able to tour on our own which is exactly what we wanted to do. Thanks.
There were no tickets left on that date at the official museum homepage, so we bought this a little more expensive ticket. Everything was fine.
It was amaizing experience. Sistine Chapel was amaizing, all the detailed paintings and sculptures. The Map room also made a great impression.
Great experience, chose not to have a guide so we could wander around the museum at our own pace
Much easier and quicker to get in with this ticket.
