Great guide. He really knows his information on the various different parts of the Vatican Museum. No problems getting into the museum, and nice small headsets were not distracting.
Discover one of the greatest art collections in the world on a guided tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Your local guide will take you to the most interesting galleries within the museums – the Rotunda, Gallery of Tapestries and Gallery of Maps. Each of these rooms contains ornate ceilings with the walls decorated with ancient statues, frescoes, and tapestries. Of course, the greatest gem of the Vatican collection is not a painting on any wall, but an entire ceiling and wall completely frescoed by the greatest genius of the Renaissance period – Michelangelo Buonarotti. From the Creation of Adam to the Last Judgement, Michelangelo dedicated some of his greatest years to the Sistine Chapel, working day and night – even sleeping in the chapel – to satisfy the popes of Rome. He also expressed his frustration with his employers with jokes hidden in his work. Today these have...

Vast museum with a very large and eclectic collection. Fortunately, one can wander again in the collections on his own after the guided tour.

Redeem your voucher at the Touristation office then the staff will accompany you into the Museums to get your official reserved ticket.
So much to see. In an odd way we were glad we went during Covid as in 'normal times' we suspect so many Rome sights would be too busy to gain the best benefit of a visit. This was definitely one of those. It was still busy and at times quite large groups of people were very close, although all were wearing masks. Having said that it was an amazing place to visit.

We were able to get tickets much earlier than the earliest slot on the Vatican museum website ... We were able to quickly go in , show our number in the app to the guy at the reservation window, who then gave us tickets to use in the turnstile to get into the main part of the museum. We were able to tour on our own which is exactly what we wanted to do. Thanks.
We were amazed by the beauty of the Vatican and its secrets while at the base we are not religious practitioners and all this would not have been possible without PASQUALE our young guide who speaks perfect French and who knows the smallest legends about the Vatican! All this in the middle of a touch of humor, a passionate beritable, thank you!
Very informative and competent tour through the Vatican museums and of course with a special focus on the explanations about the Sistine Chapel. Very good travel guide with in-depth knowledge and interesting background stories.
Excellent historical knowledge was conveyed in a personable and understandable way. We were very satisfied and can only recommend our guide A. Schröder. Good job Sven Richter
