Our tour will start at the Realejo quarter, originally the Jewish part of the city. This way we will get to discover the ill fated history of the Jewish people in Granada and get to see not so well known viewpoints. Furthermore, we will visit Corrala de Santiago, a traditional Spanish type of housing. Then we will head into the forest of the Alhambra, where we will discover the Alhambra Palace Hotel. Going back to the city from this point we will stumble upon the murals made by El Niño de las Pinturas, a local artist whose work can be seen not only in Granada but also in New York and many other cities around the world. We will also discover the square dedicated to Joe Strummer, an integral member of the band Clash. This band has been a notorious influence in the rock scene in Granada. We will continue towards Paseo del Salón, next to the river Genil. This is a French fashion, nineteen-century avenue that will take us back to the Romantic times. A perfect place to end the tour and find restaurants for lunch.
