Full description

Witness the wonders of the Golden Circle and look at the Northern Lights on a combo tour from Reykjavik. See the Gullfoss waterfall, the bubbling pools at Geysir, and the tectonic rift at Thingvellir National Park. When night falls, go hunting for the Northern Lights in the countryside with a guide.

Experience the dramatic scenery and natural phenomena of Iceland on a 2-part combination tour, starting with a morning tour of the legendary "Golden Circle." Depart Reykjavik to visit Iceland's 3 iconic natural treasures, including the Þingvellir National Park and Gullfoss Waterfall. Discover where the earth's North American and Eurasian plates pulled apart at Geysir and watch the geothermal waters and steam spout skywards from the geyser.

Admire the cascades of Gullfoss Waterfall, where a glacial river thunders 32 meters into a canyon. Then, take a 3 to 6-hour break and grab dinner before your evening Northern Lights tour. When night falls, search for the elusive Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) in the Icelandic wilderness, depending on the weather forecast and visibility conditions.

Only visible during the winter months, the spectacular phenomenon is one of Iceland's biggest and most magical draws.

Excellent communication from the get your guide app and the partners for pick up. I do think the finer details could be a little bit clearer as finding bus stops in the dark is difficult. The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining (Yoyo) scenery was outstanding especially with a bit of snow around (a bit scary on the roads though) Overall very well run trip just a shame the small buses can’t stop you nearer the hotels when it’s sooooo cold. Unable to see Northern lights but that’s nature and we did rebook for next night but still not coming out to play sadly. No one’s fault as the reps did try :(

You see a lot in one day. The golden circle is a must see if you’re in Iceland and this tour combines golden circle with northern lights so you won’t feel like it was a waste of money if you don’t get to catch northern lights (they’re a hit or miss and seeing them is not always guaranteed). The golden circle tour showed most some of the most iconic sights of the country, which you would not be able to see unless you have your own means of transport. Unfortunately we did not see the northern lights in the tour - yet, ironically enough we saw them on our way back home from the tour! - but our guide was very knowledgeable about the local culture and customs, so during this visit he spoke mainly about the cultural aspect of Iceland which was also very interesting and engaging. Both tour guides were very knowledgeable and approachable. This tour was good value for what it offers.

This is the perfect tour! The Tour Guides for the Golden Circle Rafraf and Yoyo and the Northern Lights Dennis and Tareq were great! Golden Circle: the time we spent at each spot was just right! Yoyo gave some insight stories and was funny. There wasn't much time in between both tours. Northern Lights: being a bit tired from the tour before, Dennis was always sweet and positive and encouraged us all the time and in the end we were blessed with the sights. Thanks for the hospitality! ☺️
