Firstly, get your guide booked me at a time the actual company didn’t have (I was scheduled for 10:40 which went through as 9:20 to the company’s system, so it looked like I’d missed it when I showed up), so I had to come back the next day. Thankfully I was still around so I could go, if I was on a timeline I would have been frustrated (No fault of Arctic Adventures). The guides were very informative and passionate for what they do. Tour wasn’t challenging, we moved pretty slow but reached a decent point on the glacier. I wouldn’t say anything we did was “technical” or required any skill. Could have gone a notch more difficult for the description/price in my opinion. But overall was a great experience and the location is beautiful.

Definitely go for the 5 hour hike. It's not that difficult and you get deep into some areas of the glacier where you feel surrounded by ice which is a very cool experience. We brought food but didn't eat anything. A quick snack should be enough for those who need it. Our guide, Jan, was great as well!

Eric was a great guide and we absolutely loved our experience on the glacier. Everything was explained very well, we felt safe all the time and it was the perfect mix of safety and adventure. The hike is not that hard but you just have to focus on where to walk and work well with your crampons. Groups are max 12 people and you spend around 3h on ice in total. Would definitely recommend!
