Full description
Depart Reykjavik for a full-day coach tour of Iceland’s Golden Circle and experience the geothermal wilderness up-close. Depart the city center and drive to the Geysir Geothermal Area to see springs of spouting spring water and the most active geyser Iceland at Strokkur. Continue to Gullfoss to stand next to an amazing waterfall. Watch the vast quantities of water tumble violently into a deep, meandering gorge. Encounter a cross-section of Iceland's natural wonders and geological phenomena at Thingvellir National Park. Then, go to the natural steam baths at Fontana. Originally built in the 1920s, Fontana was little more than a shack with 2 compartments built above the hot spring that bubbles and gurgles below ground. Today, a modern complex invites you to relax in various hot tubs and steam baths that are naturally heated by hot springs. Enjoy some traditional rye bread baked in hot springs before the return transfer to Reykjavik.

Amazing nature experiences

I saw so much compared to the price I paid. The sightseeing stops were well- organized. The pick-up from the hotel was a big plus. The only minus was the mess with the tickets in BSÍ: everyone had to print their ticket from in the BSÍ and it took too much time.

Many things in one package

With this tour we visited 3 beautiful areas of Iceland. Our tour took place in January, so we just arrived to the first stop around the time the sun came up. I think there was just enough time for every attraction. I think this is a perfect tour if someone is interested in the landscape and wants to visit a bath as well, specially if their time is limited. The bath at Laugarvatn Fontana was really nice, and Siggi`s bread delicious.

Our guide gave us a lot of interesting information which made the trip very entertaining. The nature was breathtakingly beautiful, although very cold due to the strong wind and snow that day. The thermal bath was a successful conclusion to warm up. All in all a very successful day.
