Had a great 3 hour trip with my wife and kids out of Reykjavik harbour onboard the Rosin. The crew were very helpful, accommodating and professional. First few fishing spots did not yield many fish but by the last location we had so many cod we turned back to harbour. Lovely grilled fish on the journey back which was eaten below deck with potatoes. Mostly cod were caught along with some pollack, haddock and a whiting. My wife and I had wanted to bring some cod away to cook that night as we were camping and were handed a bag of 8 fillets of prime cod as we left. Lovely conclusion to a wonderful trip in Iceland. My only suggestion would be they invest in some new fishing rods as many had missing tips, make sure you grab a good one and check the reel drag is not loose. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend booking a few hours out on this boat.

The meeting location was super easy (the harbor) to find. The mates talked to our party while heading out to fish. Once we began fishing, we were able to do the complete (cast, reel and set hook) on our own. Several times we pulled in two fish at a time. 90% of the catch was big fish. Awesome outfit!

this a fantastic fishing trip. We caught lots of fish, no real work here, just cast out and reel in. The boat ride was fun, the fishing was relaxed, and the team cleaned and cooked a great dinner for us. I highly recommend this trip. If you have an evening, go fishing!
