Our guide, I believe his name was Tamas,did a great job encouraging, cajoling and assisting we four senior women as we learned new skills and overcame our trepidation. To reach our final point and look back is a memory we will all cherish.It was one of the high lights of our trip to Iceland.

Great tour that combined some stunning waterfalls and scenery with a Glacier Hike. We had a great tour guide who was driving the minibus to the south coast and telling us lots of interesting items about where we visiting and Iceland in general. What was really handy was the bus driver had some rubber cramp on type items for our feet to help us grip, as it was cold, snowy and icy at the waterfall's we visited these helped us get to the best spots for the great views (One viewing platform was really icy, but we got to it no problem). The Glacier Hike was amazing, and had all the proper gear (Ice Axe, Harness, Crampon's) to help us navigate up the glacier and to the plateau. Awesome views and amazing going through the glacier, just a shame it's melting so quickly.

This ended up being our favourite thing we did in Iceland - I'd highly recommend! It's well worth the money. We had a very informative, friendly driver (Can't quite remember the name - Hersch??) And Clem the glacier guide was also fantastic!
