Full description

Set sail from Reykjavik’s old harbor in style on the Andrea, the largest whale-watching ship in Iceland. Spot minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbor porpoises, humpback whales, and occasionally orcas with the help of an experienced guide.

Enjoy a whale-watching experience with a special educational focus, and ask your guide any questions you have. Learn about the whales and other sea life from your guide's knowledge, an app available in 5 languages, and the microscope, baleens, and whale teeth on board.

Move around the Andrea's spacious public viewing areas, and admire the fantastic 360-degree views of the environment from the deck. Stay warm with included overalls and heated indoor seating. In the summer, you can also join an express tour on a faster express whale watching boat.

If you get cold or hungry, there’s also an onboard café serving a range of refreshments, as well as a souvenir shop. And should you fail to see any of the spectacular creatures from the deep, you'll receive a complimentary ticket to sail again.

It was a nice experience! We even saw several humpbacks and dolphins! Lovely! The staff was great, they had lots of experience and gave a lot of information. Unfortunately the tourists were so rude! They almost pushed people into the water just to see the whale first or to have the best photograph. I know this is not the fault of the staff but still it influenced the overall experience

A great tour, the boat was comfortable, had Wi-Fi and offered a cafeteria and a little museum - the boat wasn’t too big as I feared, still feels personal, maybe also because it wasn’t a lot of us. The commentary by our guide Lucas was fun and very informative at the same time. We spotted a lot of mink whales. I recommend it and when I’ll be back to Iceland I’ll choose the same company - for a rib tour possibly!

Very nice crew and super relaxing atmosphere. We´ve been lucky and see lots of dolphins and some minke whales. The crew shared with us lots of information and even while we were returning to the port. There are also some bones from whales on boat, warm overalls and toilets. You can order hot drinks and if you´re going to catch whales during colder months, just dress warmly.
