Really all very well organized! When we went there was a bit of rough sea and they even gave us a free nausea tablet before we left. Of the whales we only saw the tail and the snort while we saw the dolphins very well. We recommend this tour with a fast ship because this way you get to the place where the whales are faster

100% recommend this tour! The express trip has a faster boat so you still get the same length of time spotting the whales but less time getting out to sea. It also means that it's faster to get over to an area where splashes have been spotted so I think you get a better experience. The guides are really great. Knowledgeable about the sealife in the area, enthusiastic, great at spotting the whales, made an effort to communicate with everyone (in about 4 different languages!) and really try their best to make it a good trip for everyone. I went by myself and they really made sure I was included in the group. Also, after a week in Iceland I really started to appreciate that it's quite a good value tour for what you get! Yes it's expensive but it's just an expensive country in general.

Great experience

We drove into the bay for about half an hour in a larger boat and were lucky to see minke whales and dolphins during the two-hour tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The boat was very good with toilets and a small kiosk. If you didn't take any good photos yourself, photos of the tour are offered free of charge on the website. Minke whales and dolphins are fairly common sightings according to the diary on the site.
