I can absolutely recommend this tour, already on the way to the waterfall there was one or the other stop to take a picture of the beautiful landscape, I was particularly happy about the stop at Gournia, so that I could take a few pictures of the Minoan from the hill village. The way to the waterfall was an adventurous one-lane serpentine road with a great view that our guide Rolf mastered blindly. The short hiking trail to the waterfall was also mastered well by my older fellow adventurers, we were particularly enthusiastic about the section that goes through the small grove, we had to cross the small creek again and again. Finally we arrived at the waterfall and took a refreshing dip in the cool water. On the way back we made another stop and visited the ancient site of Azorias and an olive tree that is over 3000 years old. The food by the sea was also fantastic and absolutely delicious. I had a wonderful day.

I really recommend this tour!!! Have booked a few tours, but my son (8 years) and I liked this one the most! Rolf our guide was just great with his many languages and friendliness! The hike through the forest was exhilarating and arriving at the waterfall just breathtaking! Eating together the homemade Greek cuisine is just great! You rarely get it like this as a tourist! Many many thanks to Rolf and also to the great group we were traveling with! Wear comfortable shoes that can get dirty! Water shoes are recommended at the waterfall because of the many stones.

Highly recommend! Our guide, Jessica, was great - very knowledgable about the island. Definitely worth the money - hotel pick-up, hike to Richtis Gorge, lunch (great view, lots of food and local wine), visit to the oldest olive tree & drop-off. As it says, wear suitable shoes. I was wearing trainers but with little grip and ended up having a tumble but Jessica was very helpful (thank you!). If you’re in Crete, you should do this excursion!

Vielen Dank!

The excursion to Richti's waterfall was a very nice experience, our guide was very punctual and very nice, explained everything to us with great passion and showed us, even our 8-year-old daughter was very enthusiastic, we can definitely recommend this tour
