Then, visit one of the main waterfalls in the park, Cascatinha Taunay, for a photo stop.  Next, follow a light trail to the visitor center and Tijuca National Park Museum. Once you've explored the museum, continue to the Cachoeira das Almas waterfall, where bathing is allowed. Find out about how the name means Waterfall of Souls, to do with the slave cultural traditions that once took place there. After that, stop at the visitor's center before heading towards Capela Mayrink Chapel which has replicas of famous painters such as Portinari. Make your last stop at the largest dam of the Tijuca Forest, the Açude da Solidão. Finally, return to downtown Rio de Janeiro where your tour concludes.

Great and efficient tour. It would've been nice to have a little bit more time at every tourist sight, but it was overall a great way to see a lot of things in one day. Would 100% recommend!

This was a really good day trip with all Rio highlights. The tour leader Antonio is very much informed on everything and knows what he's doing. Enjoyed every minute.
