Fantastic tour. Was very easy to meet our guide Jucara at the station (metro is £1) and from there we went to the top of the favela for an amazing view - loved taking the motorbike to the top! Our guide was great and grew up and lives in Rochina still, so it was great to get her local insight. Her tour company (@touringtouragency) has great photos so you can see what you will be getting up to. The tour also included a stop at a house in Rochina where we met more locals and admired the amazing view. Jugará’s English was also fantastic!

Thiago, Pedro, and Julianna were brilliant guides; informative, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The experience was amazing, such friendly people and an interesting sense of community, a completely different outlook than the perception we have from movies etc. Would definitely recommend, a Rio highlight!

I can recommend this experience with a very experienced and well-informed guide to everyone! The social transparency, as well as the communicative information about life in social hot spots impressed me and I definitely recommend it

Even in the pouring rain it was a fantastic tour/experience. Pedro was a brilliant tour guide would highly recommend.

Great tour, very friendly and knowledgeable guide!
