    Take an amazing journey back in time on this day tour to the archaeological ruins of Pompeii from Rome. Travel through the Italian countryside and enjoy incredible views of the Mediterranean, Mount Vesuvius, and countless historic sites.

    If you you are looking to relax and have someone else drive then this is the trip for you. I had debated on taking the train to Napoli, then the bus to Pompeii, but after walking around Rome for 3 days, I was looking forward to a relaxing moment. I didn’t think the time in Pompeii was long enough and would have preferred another hour or two there. I do plan to go back to visit Pompeii independently someday.

    Well worth the long coach trip (which was broken by toilet/coffee stops half-way and a quick stop in Napoli to look over the bay). Highlight was, of course, the walk through parts of Pompeii with an entertaining and very informative Guide (Anna). Driver and other Guide were very patient and helpful when one of the party was lost/late back to the coach.

    The bus trip down and back was very enjoyable, the on bus guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Good stop half way down to get refreshments. It's a long day, but well worth it! We couldn't always hear the guide around pompeii as she had no mike, whereas on our trip to the catacombs, that guide did!
