The program was really well designed and lots of fun for the participants and the audience. We got to learn a lot about the history of the gladiators in a fun way. The instructor was awesome and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend for families with kids as a nice break from touring the museums.

Was great. Was a bit off the beaten path and at first we wondered where we ended up here but it was great. There was a short introduction with a lot of interesting facts in the museum and everyone could put on a helmet. Then there was a warm-up and a few attack strokes and defense options were shown and practiced. At the end you could hit each other's lids in an arena and you were declared a citizen of Rome. Our gladiator guide was super cool, enthusiastic, personable and had extensive knowledge. It was all in English and you didn't understand him that well from time to time. Overall it was very funny and fun but was quite expensive for the two hours. But would do it again and again.

Max was our trainer. He’s a professional MMA fighter as well as a gladiator. Lots of interesting history about all kinds of Roman combat techniques. It was also a great workout….My wife and I are pretty out of shape and he accommodated us while taking us through various techniques. Super informative and endlessly entertaining. A great way to begin our Roman adventure.
