Book the SIT bus transfer between Civitavecchia Port and the Vatican City area. Benefit from the services of the staff as they assist customers with their transfer details. The driver will help you store your luggage in the provided area before driving towards the Vatican City or Civitavecchia Port, depending on your chosen transfer option. Your transfer will end after drop-off unless you choose the round-trip option. If heading to the Vatican City from the port, you'll be dropped off in the Prati District at a location that's a convenient 10-minute walk to the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Church. If heading to the port, get dropped off outside the Civitavecchia Port.

Very easy to find. Right outside the shuttle bus gate from the cruise ship. there was a lot of confusion with all the buses so I asked someone and they directed me to the end bus and that took us to the Port welcome center. Walk out and there is a group of tour people waiting to direct you to the correct tour/shuttle bus. We eere supposed to be there at 8:30 AM to leave by 9 AM and I think we actually left 9:45 am. I believe they were waiting for a couple that never showed up.. Overall easy and inexpensive way to transport you and your luggage to Vatican City or Roma Termini train station.

Booked a 9:00 a.m. departure, which was canceled that day without notification and was postponed by half an hour. As a result, we were unable to keep our other booking in Rome on time. That was too bad. Transfer but otherwise fine.

Good connection, from the port with the ship shuttle to the car park and from there to the bus, which was already there. We were even able to catch the bus half an hour earlier. Disembarkation in Vatican City was well received. After a short orientation, we also found the right path. Are almost 10 minutes to St. Peter's Square from the exit.
