Skip the notorious lines to enter the Vatican Museums, and enjoy a personal narrative once inside. Your guide will treat you to a customized tour, bringing the magnificent works of art to life with an interactive and imaginative commentary. Uncover the legends and mysteries behind works from the Renaissance and other art eras, and hear about the papal patrons. Marvel at sculptures, carvings, frescoes, paintings, tapestries and maps. Go to the Belvedere Courtyard, and stroll through the most interesting galleries in the museum complex.   • Please note: The Basilica is not accessible until further notice
  • A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums: no shorts or sleeveless tops allowed, knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
  • A moderate amount of walking is involved - comfortable shoes are recommended
  • When booking, please advise if you require a hotel pick-up, and provide the name and the address of your accommodation (this service is at an extra cost)
  • Unfortunately this tour is not wheelchair friendly
  • It is strictly forbidden to take photographs in the Sistine Chapel
  • Long items such as large umbrellas, camera stands and tripods, walking sticks (unless for disabled persons) are not allowed and are to be left at cloakrooms
  • Please note that the museums' hours and closures may change due to special events taking place

Mirta our guide was impeccable very precise and prepared. We had a 3 year old boy with us and she was understanding and caring. Very passionate about art. If you want an overview of the Vatican Museums in a short time that will leave you teachings and anecdotes, choose this tour

We were led by a German speaking historian. She knew some of the security forces by name. These have repeatedly led us past all the queues. We didn't wait anywhere even though it was completely overcrowded. The information presented was well-founded and entertaining. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot.

Notre guide, Azzura a su nous faire comprendre la chronologie des collections et nous a permis de mieux apprécier le musée Pio Clementino et les chambres de Raphael avec ses explications riches, mais très claires
