Full description

Join this tour for an exclusive experience in Rome, where you will discover the most hidden secrets of the Eternal City. Accompanied an expert and charismatic local guide, navigate the winding cobble-stoned alleys and uncover the history behind the Eternal City's most enchanting piazzas.

As you make your way towards the oldest standing pagan temple in the world, The Pantheon, pass by the most famous shopping streets in Italy, Via del Corso, where Valetino, Fendi, and Armani all have flagship stores for their Italian enterprises. Then, make your way to the Trevi Fountain, where you can admire the most famous and highest-earning fountain in the world.

Stand in Piazza Della Rotonda and admire Hadrians Pantheon at night, lit up and surrounded by fountains and bars, as you learn about the importance of a building which houses one of the largest man-made domes in the world. If you thought that view was unbeatable, wait until your guide chaperones you onwards towards Piazza Navona. Stand in awe of Bernini's, Fountain of the Four Rivers, located just in front of Bernini's original design for St Peter's church.

Your guide will leave you in the most electric part of Rome, Campo de' Fiori square, the main hub for bars, nightlife, and food in Rome, but not before a traditional Italian coffee, to send you on your way.

Thé tour was great because there were only 3 of us, 4 with the tour guide. The only thing I would like more would be more time at each site to take some pictures, and possibly entering the Pantheon would be nice too. But it was a great way to see some of the sites with a bit of history thrown in. Worth doing!

Our guide James is a living encyclopedia. He knows everything dated back more than 2000 years ago. Answered all our questions and some more. He is so full of energy and very enthusiastic. He made the walking tour so much fun and informative. We liked the tour very very much.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and seemed genuinely passionate about Rome's history but the information was a bit too much to digest since it was a lot in 2 hours. More highlights than secrets, to be honest we expected something different - also I have the feeling we missed the first part because we had to change group. In the end we asked our guide for local gelato/food places that turned out to be great!
