Covid-19 Update

Due to health and safety regulations, this itinerary may change. See Know before you go for the latest updates.

Your expert guide will take you to the treasures of the Vatican Museums Collection. Experience Renaissance art at its most refined in the Raphael Rooms. Enjoy the charming novelty of the Gallery of Maps. You’ll see this, and so much more, on this small group or private tour of the Vatican City with skip-the-line access. Is there another room as brilliantly decorated as the Sistine Chapel? People of all faiths are moved to tears by the masterful depiction of mankind’s tragedies and triumphs. Michelangelo’s frescoes are the highlight here – the scale of the frescoes leave an indelible impression. Your guide will illuminate the secret meanings behind this iconic work. St. Peter’s Basilica is an architectural triumph of the High Renaissance, where Baroque and Renaissance impulses unite to create a building in praise of God and the ingenuity of man. Find yourself hushed to silence when strolling below the iconic dome, and tremble when faced with Michelangelo’s masterful depiction of maternal suffering, his Pieta.

Fantastic experience. Vatican treasures revealed with skill & passion.

The history and mystery of the Vatican art revealed by an experienced and knowledgeable guide. From Constantine's daughter's coffin, the maps of Italy, Rafael's lush paintings to the unearthly majesty of the Cistine chapel, this tour was a delight. Thanks so much to our guide Francesca. She bought it all to life in a way that we'll remember for a long time. It's broadened my understanding of life.

    Brilliant.

My daughter and I met Peter (our guide) at about 2:30pm and from then it was a catalogue of information narrated by Peter. We both thought Peter was very knowledgable & friendly. I will recommend Roma Experience just for the calibre of the guide we had. Most importantly the group was not large , so it was more of one to one guide. We loved the 'route' Peter took; long but very interesting.

Insofern also auch sprachlich anstrengend.
