What people are saying about Sacellum of The Augustales

Exciting experience

The tourist company welcomed us in the office, clarified the program, and gave us the vouchers. We travelled by shuttle buses of another local company. There is no guide during the day. Vouchers must be substituted for tickets at entrances. In the case of Vesuvius, this was uncomfortable. The bus stopped near the starting point of Vesuvius's pedestrian ascent, and the ticket office was 200 meters down the road. The parking for buses and taxis is crowded and dangerous for pedestrians. It takes at least an hour and a half to climb to the volcano crater and return. It is possible to return to Naples on a later bus.

Great tour, wonderful guid and driver!!

This tour was expensive, but very worth it!! We would not have gotten as much out of the day if it weren't for Gabriella and her wealth of knowledge about both places. She was very pleasant, and made our day very enjoyable, our driver was wonderful too, I believe his name was Luca, but now unfortunately I am not 100 percent certain, he was very pleasant and safely got us from one place to the next.

Thank you very much!!!

Fantastic agency: flexible and precise organization. Our guide was punctual and proved to be competent and personable. With his experience as an archaeologist, he led us on a visit capable of bringing the ancient cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum to life! We hope to be able to reorganize another visit soon. Super recommended!

Our driver, Francesco, and the archeologist, Diego, who was our guide, were both fantastic: very polite and always on time, with an excellent sense of humour. I'll never forget our visit and the vivid as well as entertaining, at the same time scholarly descriptions of ancient culture. Thank you, Francesco and Diego!

Great trip well organised with a well spoken bus driver

Although u never got a guide on the trip to take you on the bus it was well worth doing. The bus had a guided talk as u went along and the driver always helped with meeting times and information needed. Both places were great.
