A fantastic journey over the Salzach and through Salzburg with a unique vehicle. It has space for 20 people, so everything is very informal, no audio guide but easily understandable, personal explanations in German and English via microphone. We were fortunate that the tour was accompanied by the builder. The most important highlights were explained to us in a very humorous and exciting way, there was a stopover where there was also a toilet and the captain and the builder patiently answered all questions about the vehicle as well as Salzburg and Mozart. A highlight of our stay.

I surprised my husband with the cruise as he loves boating. It was an excellent introduction to the history of Salzburg. The walk to the funicular gave us a glimpse of the old town and its squares. We loved stumbling upon the old time royal pharmacy. We explored the top of Fort Salzburg on our own and took lovely pictures of the incredible scenery. We enjoyed dinner and the Mozart, Dvorak and Strauss concert with talented musicians that followed.

With the amphibious vehicle you have seen Salzburg on water and on land (old town). The guide was good, not too much facts. The tickets were already on sale with their names on them. Very good!

The cruise was packed and chilly. However, the dinner and the concert by far made up for it. The concert was spectacular. Very moving.

An experience that you must have made when you are in Salzburg
