Josef was a great host and driver on our carriage ride. There was not enough snow for the sleigh but the experience was still very beautiful and highly recommended. Lara and Chirpy were lovely horses, in great condition and they clearly enjoyed the ride too. Josef is very thoughtful of his horses which was an added bonus.

Booking was simple and easy with effective communication all the way through. A fantastic experience from been picked up to been dropped off. Lisa our tour guide had excellent English and knowledge of the area, telling us lots of local information. The sleigh ride itself was magical, there was lots of snow and the views were spectacular. Afterwards we had the opportunity to explore the local lakes and countryside. This experience was worth every penny and one we will treasure forever. Thank you to everyone especially Lisa x

We stayed on a small country road for the entire ride. It was snowing during our tour, and with the wind it was cold. We had two thick fleece blankets that were warm and covered my and my wife's lower torso. We were glad we had down jackets with hoods. There was about 12 inches of accumulated snow in the fields but the country road was regularly plowed, so it seems as if the snow would not ever build up enough to use the runners instead of the wheels. We never used the runners, since Joseph said there wasn't enough snow on the road. That said, it was still a nice ride and I'm not sure we could really tell that we were rolling instead of sliding along our journey. In reading reviews of this and other tour operators, I couldn't tell if anyone does sleigh rides on the runners unless there is a lot of fresh (unplowed) snow. The pickup and drop-off service was punctual and the vehicle (a Mercedes sedan) was new. That was a nice touch.
