Mohr remembered the poem, Silent Night, which he had written two years previously, and Gruber wrote out a simple tune that he could play on the guitar. And that was how the famous song was born. An excellent and heart-warming Christmas surprise, neatly gift-wrapped with incredible charm! The musicians are world-class. Their passion and love for their music is reflected with the vim and vigor with which Vivaldi was performed. The soloists were unparalleled, the music hall at Mirabel Palace is like something from a Baroque dream, and the meal served beforehand made this a Christmas gift that will forever be remembered. Unforgettable. Highly recommend this item for anyone visiting Salzburg, and wishing to feel like royalty, even if only for a couple of hours!

A nice meal in a restaurant that was not overcrowded and with beautiful views from the window by our table. The meal was well presented and unhurried. The service staff were possibly short staffed as service was strangely out of keeping with the event. Our bottle of white wine was left by a radiator without comment while the waitress addressed another table. She returned around 10 minutes later and seemed surprised that we had moved the wine and even opened it! The concert was fine for the occasion and an undemanding audience

A wonderful experience! So skilful and entertaining. Thoroughly recommend!

Very entertaining and nice way to spend a night in the city of music

Very relaxing to hear it after a long tiring touristy day. Must do.
