Mohr remembered the poem, Silent Night, which he had written two years previously, and Gruber wrote out a simple tune that he could play on the guitar. And that was how the famous song was born. What people are saying about Salzburg

It was one of the most wonderful things we have ever done - Walter was amazing - his knowledge - wow. The weather was perfect - the lunch the bus ride and of course the sleigh ride - just like something out of a fairy tale book - it was a winter wonderland at its very very best - 7 stars

Only tour I have done in my life in which I have not felt a sheep following the flock. Correct times. The English of the guide very easy to understand. Blankets are not electric, they are lifelong. The horses can rest, they look well cared for.

This was a fantastic experience, our guide Leopold was absolutely awesome and funny and made us laugh the whole day! The horse drawn sleigh ride is something you must do whilst in Salzburg. It is spectacular and beautiful. Highly recommend!

Pure magic! An absolute must do. We went to Salzburg for a white Christmas only to find out, that unlike every brochure we saw, Salzburg hasn’t had a white Christmas for 8 years. This tour absolutely made the white Christmas come true.

Amazing experience!! Beautiful scenery!! Fantastic horses (and drivers)!! Plus plenty of time to explore too!!
