I took my husband for his birthday. Wondering how this huge truck/boat/? Lol would go from land to sea. While we didn’t have long to wait before we found out. Oh my god it was amazing! We seen so many seals!! Our Captain was Cowboy he was very knowledgeable as was Mermaid. She was excellent as well as knowledgeable of the city. We did learn a lot of the city of San Diego we didn’t know. Plus she really knows how to get a party going. Thank you SEAL we will be back with our grandkids.

I liked the tour very much, especially the tour guide was very competent and was able to give a lot of insides about San Diego and answered all questions. But be careful: the tour is not a classic tour that takes you past the sights of San Diego. It is essentially limited to a (land) ride on the waterfront and a (very nice) (water) ride through the North Bay.

We toured parts of San Diego and the bay in a hydra terra amphibious vehicle. It was really a wonderful experience where we learned about San Diego's beginnings as a port town, and we were taken out on the bay where we saw sea lions and dolphins. Dolphins are seen less common, but you'll always see the sea lions on the tour. Best of all was the tour guide, who called herself Mermaid. She was about the best guide I've ever seen - big personality, fun and personable, and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about San Diego and it's aquatic surroundings. The driver/captain, Michael was also super nice, and he was a very competent driver and boatsman. All around an amazing experience, well worth the cost!
