We loved the tour! Our guide Angela was very knowledgeable and engaged with every participant of the group. We also liked that they don’t let the groups get too big. The restaurants and bars they picked out were perfect and even able to accommodate my food allergy. I had no expectations that they would be able to, but the guide called in advance and every restaurant was able to present me with a drink and snack that was suitable for me. Very impressive. If I could give six stars I would!

Fun. You had to move to keep the time slot so don't think you can stop for long along the way. We went to places that we would not have seen on our own so this made it a good value. Be sure to carry the printed map as the GPS screen cannot be seen in the daylight! We are seniors and did very well, though challenged at getting out of the scooter. Best to wear a baseball hat with visor and sunglasses under the helmet. The sun is bright!

Then we’ll stop at the California Tower, built for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition, has since become a city landmark. The face of the tower depicts the early history of the city. • San Diego: Old Town Tales, Tacos, and Tequila

    7. San Diego: Old Town Tales, Tacos, and Tequila

As the birthplace of California, Old Town San Diego has seen its fair share of history. Today, it’s also widely regarded for its restaurants, margaritas, and souvenir shops. Then, you'll be treated to handmade tortillas, a world-famous dish that dates back to before Columbus landed in North America. After that, continue the tour and see one of the oldest brick buildings in Southern California, best known for its haunting ghost stories. This tour is a must when you visit San Diego. Patti was very knowledgeable of Old Town, tequila and tortillas/tacos. Her knowledge of Old Town was jaw dropping. She even knew flowers and plants. I really enjoyed the conversations about Old Town's history of the building and locations not on the tour; which we pointed out and asked questions about. The tacos were delicious and the tequila was a lesson by itself.

This tour is approximately two hours of driving time at a slow pace and has several fun, informative detours and stop options along the way.  If you want to extend the tour you have the option of taking the Oldtown loop at the end of the tour.

The value was great and we really enjoyed zooming through the city in our GoCar. We learned so much about the history of San Diego and made plenty of stops to take pictures and see the sights. The only thing we weren't too happy with is that the address in the booking details, led us to a parking garage and was inaccurate. We called the location and the instructor was very apologetic and helped us find the right location. He was nice enough to give us a little extra time because of the mishap.

Took the 2 hour tour that we were looking too take after our last visit. It was just way at we expected and more! The narrator was so full of information that we had to ask him how he did it. He said a lot of experience and we agreed that must have been the answer. He was really impressive. Don’t miss it.

It was awesome enjoyed the audio device given to hear about the ship and aircraft on it and the tour and movie about the history of how the ship got it name was amazing

Get to the dock early and board early if possible. If it's comfortable, sit on the top level of the ship along the rail for the best view.

It was excellent. Truly enjoyed everything about it.
