Great trip to a gorgeous place. We didn’t realize the return trip included an hour and 1/2 stop in Sausalito which was plenty of time to walk around and take photos. Also the stop to take pictures of the GG Bridge was outstanding. Jerry, our driver/guide provided interesting commentary and recommendations along the way. All in all, a most enjoyable day trip.

impressive well organized excursion to the redwoods

The trip was well organized. Punctual hotel pickup, early arrival at Muir Woods before the crowds started. Driver James accommodated special requests (extra stop for photos at GoldenGate on return). The group was small and manageable, didn't have the charm of a "bus excursion". At the national park you could do a short hike alone with a sufficient time window. You can certainly organize the trip yourself with a rental car, but if you only have a few days in SFO and don't know your way around that well (bridge toll at the GoldenGate, etc.), it's a good alternative.

Comfortable vehicle. Nice side trip to Sausalito. Informative guide. I recommend this trip. It was easy and fun. Really enjoyed Muir woods.
