This was an all day tour that involved some hiking with stairs. But Benjamin spoke good English and was incredibly informative. I learned so much in one day that I will carry with me for a lifetime! I saw active volcanoes, cloud forest, Crater lake, Mayan Ruins and Pyramids.

Had the same guide the day before so he had suggested a visit to an eco indigo farm nearby. I work with textile printing myself so it fit perfectly. Since there are not so many tourists in the country, it is possible to customize the content as desired and needs.

The guide picked me up and then we left. First I saw the city from the outside and then we drove to the old town. There was a festival in town which was lucky for me. I saw local dances, heard local music and more. The guide was welcoming and informative.

The Mayan Heritage tour is spectacular and I encourage everybody to experience the southern most Mayan civilization in El Salvador!

The Guide was very friendly ..... the tour was incredible ..... beautiful places
