Ischia Day Trip with Lunch from Naples

1. Ischia Day Trip with Lunch from Naples

Spend the day on the lush green island of Ischia and escape the heat and hustle of Naples. Discover curiosities on every corner and marvel at the natural beauty of the sunken craters, rocky spikes and lava hills of the volcanic island. Catch the ferry from Naples and arrive at the port of Ischia, where you will enjoy an included lunch in a typical Italian restaurant. Use your free time to visit the Aragonese Castle, connected to the mainland by a bridge that has been rebuilt several times over the centuries, as it gets washed away by the sea all the time! Explore the chic village of Sant'Angelo, loved by the rich and famous who want to escape the crowds. Admire the colorful houses of the entirely pedestrianized – and hard to reach – area, and soak up the laid-back Mediterranean vibe of the narrow alleys, ice cream parlors, restaurants and bars with outdoor tables.

Smooth process - beautiful island

The organizer agency deposited the vouchers for the ferry and lunch in our hotel. The change at the ticket office of the ferry company worked without problems. In the end, we didn't have lunch because we were traveling to another part of the island around noon and - if we had noticed this - would have created unnecessary stress. And who wants that on vacation? Next time we would only book a ferry. You can eat so tasty and reasonably priced.

It was a very pleasant day trip! The boat trip goes quite quickly, and is well worth the effort! Ischia is a really beautiful island, it really is a green island!! You can easily spend a whole day there and still not get tired of the beautiful nature and villages! Definitely highly recommended!!

You must plan to arrive early at the port to exchange tickets because the line is very long (45min-1h). Also, the boats are not at the same places in the port of Ischia according to the schedules. Otherwise the journey is very pleasant and the lunch perfect with a view of the sea.

From picking up the tickets to transporting them by ferry, everything was just right. The two women answered all of our questions and were super friendly. We would use this offer again at any time.

The ticket and lunch formula is very appropriate, leaving you free to visit. But I would also put the option of a tour with visits
