Ischia Day Trip with Lunch from Naples

1. Ischia Day Trip with Lunch from Naples

Spend the day on the lush green island of Ischia and escape the heat and hustle of Naples. Discover curiosities on every corner and marvel at the natural beauty of the sunken craters, rocky spikes and lava hills of the volcanic island. Catch the ferry from Naples and arrive at the port of Ischia, where you will enjoy an included lunch in a typical Italian restaurant. Use your free time to visit the Aragonese Castle, connected to the mainland by a bridge that has been rebuilt several times over the centuries, as it gets washed away by the sea all the time! Explore the chic village of Sant'Angelo, loved by the rich and famous who want to escape the crowds. Admire the colorful houses of the entirely pedestrianized – and hard to reach – area, and soak up the laid-back Mediterranean vibe of the narrow alleys, ice cream parlors, restaurants and bars with outdoor tables.

From Ischia to Ischia: Private Boat Day Best Excursion

2. From Ischia to Ischia: Private Boat Day Best Excursion

Tour the island of Ischia in a private boat and see the best of its dramatic coastline and hidden caves. Pass the Aragonese Castle, an ancient fortress built on a rocky outcrop in the sea, admire the shimmering blue light in the Magician’s cave, and explore Ischia's many picturesque bays. After pickup, depart from the port and follow Ischia’s sparkling coastline to the Aragonese Castle. This majestic fortress, dating back to 474 B.C., sits in the middle of the Bay of Sant’Angelo and is connected to the land by a stone bridge. Pause here to swim in the bay and, optionally, stop at a nearby restaurant to enjoy some fresh fish, at your own expense. Continue to two sea caves, the Magician’s Grotto and Green Cave, that can only be reached from the sea. Swim into both to admire the crystal waters and dancing light inside. Next, reach the bay of San Pancrazio and go ashore to explore the village of Sant’Angelo. Back in the boat, continue to the bay of Sorgeto, with its many hidden coves and grottos. As the sun sets behind you, pass the towns of Forio, Lacco Ameno and Casamicciola Terme on your way back to port.

Super organized! We decided on the outward journey at 10:45 am and the return journey at 5:20 pm. Since it takes a little more than 1.5 hours by ferry to Ischia, I would recommend taking the later ferry back at 7:45 p.m. We would have liked to have stayed longer because it was really nice. Everything worked without any problems. Lunch at the Baia del Clipper restaurant was great! Ischia is absolutely worth seeing! We went for a little stroll and swim. The beach is very nice, the water is very clear. All in all, a thoroughly successful trip!

Super organized! Great place for lunch chosen by the agency (Baia del Clipper)! It was unique! We took a taxi in Ischia (€100, but the driver will show you the most beautiful spots on the island, including San Angelo, where we had an hour to look around and also stopped at a bar by the sea, and drank limoncello spritz and coffee, it was gorgeous, not too overpriced either)! And don't forget to visit the Aragonese Castle! Everything turns out great!

Everything was well organized from the organization. Ischia is a beautiful island worth visiting. A reservation was made for lunch and this food was delicious with a great view of the water. All in all had a nice trip!

We received the tickets for the return trip and voucher for lunch from an employee at the port. Everything great. Were contacted the day before and were able to determine our desired time for the return trip.

A very well organised trip. The guide met us at the port and provided us with the ferry tickets and food vouchers. We had a lovely day in Ischia and the meal was great! Would definitely recommend.
