Immerse yourself in the local Santorini culture with a unique wind and string instrument show. Visit a former winery in the village of Megalochori and explore its history and singular architecture. Relax in the beautiful botanical garden while enjoying refreshing beverages and feel the calm environment of the village. Dive into the interactive musical journey which comes alive with mythological narration and fifteen hand-crafted wind and string instruments. For a full experience, participants can spend an extra hour in the workshop of the master instrument artisan building their own ancient Greek pipe from local cane and learning about the instrument’s historical significance.

My favourite activity in Santorini. Such a magical experience to be with fellow travelers/strangers, make music collectively with a selection of instruments, listen to myths and encounter a passionate couple and their links to their Greek heritage. I had the privilege to make a Greek pan flute with the artist Yanis afterwards and enjoyed a very inspiring conversation with Yanis during the making, sharing our artistic passions and views. Thank you for a wonderful last day experience to my Santorini holiday.

This was such an amazing experience, absolutely loved the mythological links to the music being played, and the beautiful music played by Yanis was just out of this world. I’m privelaged to have experienced this. I stayed on to make my own little pipe which was signed by Yanis and is the best souvenir I’ve ever taken away from a holiday :-)
