Full description

Explore Santorini from land and from the sea on a day trip across the island. Visit the ancient city of Akrotiri, learn about the lost city in the Lost Atlantic Museum, hike up the Santorini Volcano, and relax in nearby hot springs.

Meet your guide at the pickup point nearest you and enjoy a comfortable transfer to your first stop, the prehistoric town of Akrotiri. This ash-encased Minoan town inspired the Lost Atlantis myth. Explore the ancient city with your guide and learn about its tragic destruction.

Next, continue to the Lost Atlantis Museum, where history and myth become one. Discover every aspect of one of the world’s greatest mysteries. Archaeology, geology, and technology join forces to introduce you to the Minoan past of Santorini and the myth of Lost Atlantis.

Take the time machine to the world of Atlantis and walk along its streets with its inhabitants. Experience the great eruption, feel the earthquake and tsunami with all your senses, and see the destruction of mythical Atlantis before your eyes in a 9D experience. Next, drive to the port and board a traditional wooden boat. After a short cruise, arrive at the base of the Santorini Volcano. For the next 90 minutes, enjoy some free time around the volcano. Follow the path to the top where active craters are or relax at the base.

After returning to the boat, cruise to the island of Palea Kameni, where you can relax in the hot springs and the island's famous mud baths. After a 30 minute soak in the spring, return to the port and finish your tour.

The boat part is a bit confusing and delayed a lot! Lots of people on the boat. The ascent of the trail is hard and you need to bring water and sneakers, but it's worth it! It is a very long tour and there is no stop for lunch, we were lucky to have a very attentive guide who stopped for us to have a snack. Akrotiri is sensational, even more so when your guide is an anthropology student! The lost Atlants museum is more for children, but it was also nice!!

Terrible organisation, because our tour wasn’t fully sold, we got mixed up with other groups and as lo of our activities were delayed.
