    Our guide was nice and answered questions very well. I was disappointed as I paid for a private tour in the hope that the guide could slightly tailor the tour for our family. We have 3 kids 9, 11 & 13. Our guide didn’t ask them one question or try to interact with them at all. I expected a private guide might try to engage the whole family. You’d think the company could try to match guides with the guests a little better, especially when they pay fir a private experience.

    We wanted to take the train, but this turned out to be much better. Our guide knew all the best places and gave us the opportunity to purchase a lunch and have a picnic on the rim of the canyon. There were just 8 other travelers in our van and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly.

    We enjoyed the train ride, with the entertainment. We had the Rock n Roll Cowboy singing for us, and he was fantastic. One thing I did not care for is stopping at the trading post. I can do that on my own.

    First time on this tour, our guide Mr. Rogers was an excellent driver, very knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and overall caring guy. We learned alot about the early cowboys and saw the first ever log cabin built in the canyon. Mr. Rogers was such a great guide he even offered to take pictures of my fiance and myself. He also did a few tricks with the camera to capture a great moment. We felt very comfortable and at ease asking questions about different plants and trees. If you are thinking of going on this tour I highly recommend you request Mr. Rogers as your guide, you won't regret it.
