Full description

Join a day trip from Seoul for a guided tour of the Demilitarized Zone on the border of North Korea and South Korea. See the world's most heavily fortified border and gain insight into the Korean War. Visit landmarks including the 3rd Tunnel and the Dora Observatory.

Begin the tour with a pickup in Central Seoul and travel to Imjingak Park. Upon arrival at Imjingak Park, see the Freedom Bridge and the old steam locomotive, which shows the tragedy of the Korean War.

Pay your respects at a memorial for the soldiers who died in the Korean War. Enter the real DMZ to discover the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel and DMZ Exhibition Hall to learn about South and North Korea's conflict.

Visit the Dora observatory to see North Korea through telescopes and to get a peek at North Korea's propaganda village.

At the end of the trip, relax as you travel back to Seoul, passing by Unification Village, and get dropped off at City Hall.

Our guide, Crystal was informative and friendly to keep our group on time and see what we want to see. I recommend skipping the full-day tour and opt for the half-day tour. The lunch provided was delicious and the War Memorial tour was neat, but I recommend you save your money and see the War Memorial at your own time so you don't feel rushed to see what you want to view.

Good guide who gave an introduction to Korean history and was very committed to giving us a good experience. The only minus was that the trip was in a very old bus where it fogged so much that you couldn't see out. Pretty silly when the bus is full of tourists coming to see Korea. Therefore not 5 stars as the trip was quite expensive so you should be able to expect a decent bus.

Mr. Young was a special guide for this dmz tour! Even though the cold, the wake up at 6 am, I really enjoyed the tour. He’s prepared about history and very pleasant to talk to! Everything was pretty fast, not that much people as we left seoul very early! The tunnel is a must see! See you next time!
